I'm researching how to programmatically coordinate large crowds towards solving a given problem efficiently. PPLib is the first result of this research stream, an open source programming library written in Scala (GitHub repo), that is able to semi-automatically find well-performing crowd processes for a problem at hand.
With the rise of Data Science and their lack of experts, I spent the second half of my PhD developing remedies for some of the problems faced in the realm of predictive analytics through crowdsourcing ang PPLib.
Upon completing my dissertation, I am planning to apply the knowledge I gathered in a startup: PeakData GmbH.
