The course covers selected advanced topics in the field of software quality, for example, advanced testing methods, test automation, model
checking, systematic debugging, product vs. process quality, and external vs. internal software quality.
Students will acquire advanced knowledge and skills to analyze , evaluate and improve the quality of software and thus be able to develop quality software.

This course is aimed at the following groups of students:
Bachelor of Science in Informatics: elective module
Master of Science in Informatics: elective module (unless already completed during the BSc studies)
Minor studies in Informatics: elective module
Content of the courses Software Engineering and Informatik II (only the Modeling part).

There will be two assignments (Übungen) that you need to pass.
The discussion of the assignments is part of the lecture, so it will take place during the lecture time.
The course evaluation consists of the two assignments and the final exam. In order to pass the course, you have to pass both the assignments and the final exam. The final course grade is entirely based on the final exam.
The final exam will take place on Monday, May 2 , 2016 12:15 - 13:45.
For the exam you may bring two A4 pages with hand-written notes (either one sheet of paper with writing on both sides or two sheets with writing on only one side each). Printouts, photocopies or notes written by others are not allowed. The note sheets must not contain any other information beyond your hand-writing and must be readable without using any technical or magnifying devices.
Scope: Material presented in the lecture, assignments and literature (you were asked to read).
