Stefan Joos, my first PhD student, has died of cancer on September 18, 2024 at the age of only 56.
Stefan had joined my newly founded Requirements Engineering Research Group in March 1994 as a research associate and PhD student. He worked on the design of the object-oriented specification language ADORA-L and defended his thesis in June 1999.
Everyone who knew Stefan remembers his friendly and open personality, which made working with him easy and enjoyable. We will keep him in honorable memory.
