I joined the DDIS group in the Department of Informatics as a PhD student in September 2020. My research interests include Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and the Semantic Web. The main focus of my PhD is natural language question answering over knowledge graphs. I am also a member of the URPP Dynamics of Healthy Aging Project, where I work on deep generative model-based 3D brain MRI synthesis.
I received my master’s degree ("Graduate with Honor") in Computer Science and Technology from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, in June 2020. I hold dual bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Technology (major) and Finance (minor) from Xi’an Jiaotong University, where I was selected for the university's competitive honors engineering program. I was ranked top 0.5% in the Nationwide Unified Examination for Admissions to General Universities and Colleges, Shanxi Province.
From September 2018 to August 2019, I was a joint master's student at RWTH Aachen University, Germany, where I also worked part-time as a student research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology (FIT) from February to July 2019.
Additionally, funded by the Wu Ta-You Scholar Exchange Program, I visited National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, from July to August 2017.
