The course is organized as a block seminar, i.e. students have intermediary deadlines during the semester, but no required physical meetings with the course responsibles, except for the final presentation.
The topic of this year's seminar will be Elicitation in Requirements Engineering. Aspects include, but are not limited to, requirements elicitation in distributed and cloud systems, elicitation with mobile tools, etc. A list of concrete topics will be presented during the kick-off meeting. Students are also invited to suggest their own topics.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of Software Engineering and Requirements Engineering
ECTS Credits: 3
Examination:
- Oral presentation
- Paper on the topic assigned to the student (about 15 pages in Springer's LNCS style)
- Reviewing of about two other student papers
- Attending all presentations.
Language for paper and presentation: English
Grading:
- Presentation (weight: 1/3 of the grade)
- Paper (weight: 2/3 of the grade)
Note: This seminar will be held at the same time both for advanced undergraduate and for graduate students. The requirements with respect to difficulty, degree of guidance and quality of the paper will be different for the two levels.
