Before he went to Australia in late 2000, Rolf has been working in the Institute of Computational Linguistics at the University of Zurich where he developed ExtrAns - a system for extracting precise answers from technical documents. Before he joined the Computational Linguistics Group, he was a member of the Requirements Engineering Research Group at the same institution where he worked on the Attempto Controlled English (ACE) project and completed his PhD.
