PhD students can earn credits toward their degree, satisfy curiosity, and acquire new skills at the University of Zurich this summer.
This summer school is an event organized by the Department of Informatics, seal group, of the University of Zurich. The goal is to promote state-of-the-art research on Complex Software Systems as well as basic technologies to build and assure the quality of such systems. Doctoral students have the opportunity to acquire ECTS credits for their degrees.
We have been able to attract internationally reputed scientists as lecturers and we hope to welcome many PhD students at this event. The summer school is open to all who are looking to deepen and widen their knowledge on Complex Software Systems. Details on the lectures you can find in the schedule below.

For PhD students at the Department of Informatics (ifi) the registration fee is waived.
For non-ifi PhD students the participation fee is € 100.- (travel, meals and accommodation are not included).
From all students wanting to participate a formal registration is required via this Summer School 2009 registration form.
Registration deadline: Friday Sept 4, 2009
We reserve the right to allocate participation on a first-come first-serve basis given the room capacities.
