My masters thesis aims to to characterize novice analysts as a basis for future research in using computers to aid in performing and learning statistical analysis. Better understanding of this user group will provide a better foundation for downstream research in improving statistical practices. Also the scope of interactive systems that will help the novice analysts in using or learning statistics will be investigated. My area of interest includes human computer interaction and web engineering.
