18.11.2024Martin Glinz elected as president of SIRA

The 2024 SIRA Conference has elected Martin Glinz as president of SIRA, the Swiss Informatics Research Association,  for a term of two years. SIRA is a non-profit association representing the professors and lecturers of the Informatics Departments of the Swiss universities, federal institutes of technology and universities of applied sciences.

Having been SIRA president from 2016-2020, Martin hasn’t sought this job.  He stepped in when the SIRA conference, the highest organ of SIRA,  was faced with the situation that there was no candidate for the presidency.
