Robinson Aschoff was Head of the research stream "Innovation and Cooperative Technologies". He researches how organizations can develop innovative structures by leveraging cooperative approaches like communities, social media or the sharing of innovative artifacts. Robinson has completed his PhD in the field of Information Systems Research (Business Informatics) and holds a Diploma in Psychology with a focus on Cognitive Science. His research fields and areas of expertise include Information Systems research, Social Web research, Human-Computer Interaction, and Knowledge Management. During his doctoral research Robinson focussed on discourse quality in online communities. He was project leader of the MetAgora project where he developed a Meta-Community to guide users through the plethora of travel communities on the Internet. While working in the Information Management Research Group, Robinson was a teaching assistant for courses like Business Informatics, Information Management, Computer-Supported Cooperative Work, and Knowledge Management. He has published his work in various conferences like HICSS, ECIS, WI, CHI, and the International Conference on Communities & Technologies.
