Susanne Schmidt-Rauch joined IMRG in June 2007 as research assistant and PhD student. She holds a diploma in Computational Visualistics from the University "Otto von Guericke" of Magdeburg, Germany.
From March 2009 to August 2011 she was the project leader of "Travel Advisory 2.0". Topics in that context are intersections of Information Systems Research, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Computer-supported Collaborative Work (and learning), Information Visualization (minor) and Marketing Science (minor). The travel agency of the future contains a collaborative re-formulation of the consultation situation into a value co-creation service providing a comprehensive customer experience in front of a touch-sensitive screen. Design and development have been driven by user participation (user-centered design).
Susanne was a teaching assistant for Information Management, CSCW and "Informatik für Ökonomen III/Informatik im Unternehmen". She has reviewed for HICSS, CRIWG, MKWI and INTERACT.
