Jana Sedlakova

Jana is an interdisciplinary postdoctoral researcher in the IVDA group focusing on epistemic, ethical and humanistic approaches to visual analytics and human-AI collaboration mainly in the health and sustainability research domain. She is involved in the STAG and SDG Research Scout projects.

Jana holds a PhD from the Institute of Biomedical Ethics and History of Medicine and Digital Society Initiative (DSI) where she focused on the ethical and epistemic analysis of patients' interaction with conversational AI, with a particular focus on mental health. She is also the chair of two scientific communities the DSI-Health and Ethics Communities and collaborates with the Institute of Implementation Science in Healthcare.
