24.09.2021Swiss RE’21 Hub held in Kloster Kappel

Due to the ongoing pandemic, RE’21, the 29th IEEE International Requirements Engineering Conference, had to be held as a virtual conference from South Bend, Indiana, USA. To create a real conference experience and foster local networking of RE people in Switzerland, the Swiss members of the RE’22 program committee, Samuel Fricker, Martin Glinz, and Norbert Seyff organized a local Swiss RE’21 Hub for the RE’21 attendees from Switzerland at Kloster Kappel  in Switzerland.

On the three conference days, we jointly attended the virtual sessions, which were scheduled from 14:00 to 19:00 Switzerland time. In the morning, we held a local Requirements Engineering workshop.

Fifteen people attended the Swiss RE’21 Hub. Despite several technical difficulties, all participants were excited about the experience.
