Each year, at the IEEE International Joint Conference on Biometrics (IJCB), the organization recognizes outstanding reviewers to encourage high quality reviews.
The IEEE International Joint Conference on Biometrics is the premier international forum for research in biometrics and related technologies. Manuel Günther was awarded the Best Reviewer Award by the IJCB in 2020, 2021, 2022 and again in 2024.
Manuel Günther, head of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Group, explores robustness, reliability, fairness and bias mitigation in machine learning techniques, especially deep learning, for image procession in general and face recognition in particular.
