Swiss RE’22 Hub held in Kloster Kappel

Building upon the very positive experience with last year’s Swiss RE’21 Hub, Martin Glinz, Samuel Fricker and Norbert Seyff decided to organize again a Swiss Hub for the RE’22 conference at Kloster Kappel.

This time, we went a step further and invited participants not only from Switzerland but also  sent invitations to selected RE experts and PhD students from Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and UK, resulting in 24 registrations.

RE’22, the 30th IEEE International Requirements Engineering Conference, was originally  planned to be held at Melbourne, Australia. Due to ongoing travel restrictions, the organizers and the steering committee had decided to hold this conference again virtually.

Social event of Swiss RE’22 Hub: A joint hike

The organizers of the conference had decided to hold the conference sessions in the evening of Melbourne, Australia time. So the conference sessions were held from 11:00 to 16:00 Switzerland time.

In the remaining time of the day, we held a local RE Workshop. Again, all participants loved the experience – and the wonderful atmosphere at Kloster Kappel. As a social event, we explored the surroundings of Kloster Kappel in a joint hike.
