Prof. Dr. Alexander Richter

Former Research Assistant

Alexander Richter is head of the research unit Digital Work Design at the Department of Informatics at the University of Zurich and Associate Professor for Workplace Studies at the IT-University of Copenhagen.

He is currently in charge of the requirements analysis in the major European research project “Worker-Centric Workplaces in Smart Factories (FACTS4WORKERS)". Moreover he leads several industrial research projects in the area of innovation and social networking.

For instance, he has co-developed a framework that supported the selection, implementation and evaluation of social software at companies such as Allianz, Airbus, Deutsche Bahn, Bayer and Bosch.

Alex is Chairman of the Special Interest Group " CSCW & Social Computing " in the German computer society and in his function a member in the steering boards Human Computer Interaction and Wirtschaftsinformatik/Information Systems.
