This page lists topics for Bachelor's and Master's theses. The characterization of topic ideas is based on competences of the IVDA Group, recent research results, Prof. Jürgen Bernard's's publication record, as well as promising and ongoing research branches.
Topics may be subject to change, either by inspiring ideas and individual background of the student before the thesis, or by insights gained during the thesis.
The distinction between theses at the Bachelor and Master level regarding project scope and extent is discussed in the kickof meetings with Prof. Bernard.
Desipite the outlined topics, students are invited to meet Prof. Bernard to a) ask for more topics, or b) propose an own topic that matches the scope of IVDA. In both cases, Prof. Bernard will assess the feasability of alternative topics.
